Welcome!

Thanks for your interest in Cub Scouts and Pack 416.

Cub Scout Pack 416 is Medford, MA’s only Cub Scout Pack. We are a member of the Spirit of Adventure Boy Scouts of America Council.

We welcome ALL boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade and their families. We are based out of the First Community United Methodist Church (55 Otis St., Medford, MA 02155), where Den Meetings are often held. We have grown in recent years, so to accommodate all the Scouts we hold Pack Meetings at various locations in Medford.

We have 6 Cub Scout Dens:
What is a “Den”?

The pack is divided into groups of boys and girls based upon grade. We call these groups “Dens.” The youngest Den is the Lions, and the oldest Den is the Webelos II, who are preparing to make the transition to the Boy Scouts.

- - Lion Den – Kindergartners
  - Tiger Den – 1st Graders
  - Wolf Den – 2nd Graders
  - Bear Den – 3rd Graders
  - Webelos I – 4th Graders
  - Webelos II – 5th Graders

Each Den meets about twice per month to work on achievements and do fun activities. We come together as an entire pack at least once a month for our Pack Meetings. As we have the details of each Den’s meeting schedule, we’ll post it to this site, along with the Pack Meetings and other events.
